I have been explaining a little about Cripple River out-camps, places away from main camp you can visit for a day, stay overnight or a longer time if there is space available. One of these camps is the dredger's camp on lower Arctic Creek, about 8 miles from main camp.

I had the privilege of being at Cripple River camp the last day they were open in 2016. I enjoyed Tom and Cindy's company and caught a ton of fish and found good gold there that year. There is a lot of gold left. It was my third year there and miss the camp, the friendly crew and the fishing- Salmon Fever!!!
